The only issue is that the remote’s battery compartment is not as easy to access as I expected. It’s difficult to remove the battery. UPDATE: FIRE HAZARD WORTHY
EDIT MARCH 3RD 2025: Last night I woke up to a fishy smell around my living room. I looked around and couldn’t figure it out. So this morning, something told me to check the outlet this was plugged to. Guess what? The plug melted and cemented itself to the outlet! I have NEVER seen anything like this. I couldn’t pull the plug out! I had to contact my building’s maintenance to see if they can get an electrician. If they don’t help, I’ll have to contact my local electrical company. Save your money with this heater. IT’S DANGEROUS!!!I really questioned if I was going to keep this heater. But with the recent polar vortex we faced in my state, It was really put it to test. Particularly since my apartment building had no heat whatsoever! With the way it oscillates, I got a good amount of heat where I sat and it never turned itself off for two long. When I got impatient, I simply turned it up higher to get heat pumping again. On a regular cold winter day with no heat in your home, it’s enough. On a polar vortex-like day with no heat in your home, you may want to sit another heater across the room, because this heater may NOT be enough for you. For me, this heater and paired with my other less powerful heater kept my home warm and comfortable during that freezing time. Overall, I’m satisfied with this heater.

Iâm very disappointed with this heater, especially since it was recommended by Consumer Reports. It is not effective for heating larger rooms. It does not remember heat or oscillating settings Every time you shut it off and turn it back on, you have to reset the temperature and turn the oscillating function back on. On top of all this, itâs really poor quality, cheaply made.

I had ordered this to replace an older and smaller space heater being used in our sleeping area. This one looks much nicer, taller, and does a good job with managing the temperature really well. Since we got it, weâve been using it in our room almost every night.The airflow is good and it does well in circulating the heat. It turns on, by default, to 72 degrees F. The thermostat can be changed up or down by one degree at a time. It can also be set to oscillate. Heating has a few modes, including ECO, but we just leave it on the default. There’s a timer that can be setup to shut off the space heater automatically. The included remote works well and tucks away on the back. It’s tall, but feels stable. On the front, there is a grill that adds some safety from the heat while in use. The design also looks really nice for a space heater.The lights on the panel are very bright at night and glow blue, which I didn’t like. Also, the confirmation beeps when making adjustments is loud, especially for a sleeping area. The control panel on the front is flat and has no tactile feel to it when trying to make adjustments. If I close my eyes, I can’t tell what I am doing or where anything is at. Lastly, when oscillation is turned on, it doesn’t stop when the heat shuts off and will continue until the space heater is shut off completely.Overall, it works much better than our older smaller space heater and looks much nicer. We’ve been using it for a month or two and the thermostat is on point. Circulation is great since it pushes quite a bit of air and is relatively quiet. I’m pretty happy with it, even with some of the issues, and would definitely recommend it.
