    Great, so far
    I just received this and plugged it up and boy it’s been amazing so far, it really pulls the water out of the air and makes the air conditioner work so much easier and house is cool and less humidity. So far so great. Shuts off when full , great size for a large room. Heavy but worth it. Made well and packing could have been better but was sufficient.

    I had purchased another brand (name brand) several years ago for the pump feature specifically so that I wouldn’t need to constantly be emptying a bucket multiple times a day in the summer – that function never worked, customer service never helped and I just lived with it for a few years. I did my research to find one that would pump out and run continuously and this has been running since I plugged it in, I ran the pump outlet to my washing machines drain line and it works like a charm, it’s quiet and my basement has been consistently 40% humidity for over a week now.

    One reason and one reason only for the 4 stars. The resivour is small.As far as noise it is very tolerable quieter then a fan on its lowest setting.I have a dirt floor under my living room and with as wet as it has been this year it keeps everything dry.Easy to empty and lite but I have to empty it twice a day.I haven’t received an electric bill yet so can’t comment on power usage.Operation I found it easy to operate and the instructions easy to follow.Personal thoughtsFor a basement with a sub pump this would be an excellent unit to have it drain directly into it to eliminate the dumping. It seems to work rather well and haven’t had any issues. I have 100 all service for the house and it is plugged into the same wall as other alliances and doesn’t cause strain.Would I buy this again yes but for my situation I would buy the bigger model.

    Only used for a few days.
    but set up was a breeze, so far so good, no problems. Biggest plus though, is not the dehumidifier, but the company. I had ordered a different model, it was shipped promptly, but it vented at the top. We were replacing a different brand that vented at the top, literally ruining our drapes. After advising that I needed to return it, I reached out to the company through Amazon advising why I was returning and asking if they had or knew of a model that vented from the side, they suggested this, and so I ordered it. It arrived the very next day, no additional shipping charges, received a return label, so I returned the original today. They could’ve been upset at returning the item, but instead came through with a model that would work for me. They are good people to do business with.

    I have had this unit less than one year and loved it, until I didn’t. It began leaking and I have attempted to contact the company about the warranty with no reply. Also make note, it may have a one year warranty but you the consumer are responsible for any shipping charges if it has to be sent in for repair. That is not a company standing behind a good product. That is a company standing behind words on a piece of paper trying to call it a warranty.Funny, I just forwarded my warranty email to the company again and this time received an automated response. I did not retype anything, including the email address I originally sent it to.

    Works well but no instructions
    This dehumidifier works well. It’s pulling nearly 5 gallons of water out of the air each day. It’s a good little until for a 2700 sq ft house. However, there are no actual instructions for how to use the dehumidifier. The user guide isn’t really a user’s guide. It only contains warnings and a glossary of where each item is on the unit. It doesn’t say how to program the unit, which is a major drawback because I can’t change the default comfort level or adjust the humidity level.It’s a sad drawback to what is a good machine.

    I couldn’t decide between 4 and 5 stars, but finally landed on 5, as my concerns are relatively minor. Overall this is a great machine and I recommend it if you have under 2000 sq. feet to dehumidify. With the recent heavy rains, my 1200 sq. foot apartment became too humid and began to smell musty. The dehumidifier was trivial to set up – just take it out of the box, plug it in and turn it on. I took it off the preset continuous cycle (with one button press) and set the relative humidity for 50% (with another button press). It ran almost continuously for two days to wring the moisture out of the air, stopping only when the catch basin was full. Now it cycles on and off and keeps the place comfortable. My two minor concerns are: (1) it is a little tricky to put the catch basin back in place after emptying it, but I think I have mastered that now. (2) It is a bit noisier than I had expected it would be; not as loud as I had worried it might be based on some comments, but louder than I thought it might be based on others. I put the machine in the second bedroom, so the noise level in the main living area and master bedroom is quite minimal. But even from there it keeps the entire apartment very comfortable.

I highly recommend!Edit: I was going to buy another unit, one year later, however I cannot verify if this product is authentic because the seller is in China so I didn’t.

    So far has been working flawlessly, pretty quiet compared to a larger whirpool unit we have in the basement. Purchased to use upstairs so no more lugging a unit up and down the stairs. Was more expensive than we wanted for a second unit but seems like good quality. As previously stated water reservoir could be larger but is not really a problem, put on unit first day and dropped humidity from 68 to 42 in about an hour and a half. Happy with the purchase, hopefully will last , would so far recommend to buyand Energy Star is a big plus.

    This was a steal at $30 CAD when I bought it in 2018 after discovering a bit of mould growing underneath the sink and looked to Amazon for a dehumidifying solution. Needless to say, I keep this in the bathroom and turn it on after every shower.The form factor is small, about knee-high, and comes with wheels for easy transport from one room to another (if needed). An LED displays the humidity level in the room and allows you to set an auto shut-off timer up to 24 hours. The removable reservoir holds 30 pints of water, which I simply dump out into the bathtub when full. A “turbo” button lights up green when activate, kicking the fan into another gear, though I have never used this feature. The fan is noisy, you will know it’s on, but I don’t find it annoying as the sound is constant and smooth.
