    I was in a time crunch to replace it, so I didn’t get a before and after pic, but wow. I love the LEVOIT Core 300 machine and filter. It moves the air through my rooms so you can tell it’s really working. I usually keep mine on high because I have a lot of stagnate air due to low air flow. When I got this machine a couple of months ago I almost noticed immediately that quality of the air was better. My eyes and nose didn’t feel like huge pieces of dust were going in them anymore. The air smelled a little better. So, now its been about 6 months and I had to replace the filter. Both of my machines filter light came on at the same time lol. When I took out the old filter it was covered in fine dust and another great benefit that I didn’t know I needed was it took out most of the gnats in my kitchen. I didn’t even know I had that many gnats. After looking at all the crud it filtered out of the air I literally said out loud, “”I was going to order the regular filter, but wanted to try the 4 filter one. It was a bit more expensive, but I wanted to see if it could help with the smells a bit more. I just put it in a couple of days ago. I think it’s working great. There is still a stubborn smell that seems to be lingering, but overall, so far, it seems good. I’m not sure if I’ll get the 4 filter one next time, but we will see. 10/10

    Love it, huge difference with my allergies. We start by put it into the living room, was perfect, but tried it in the bedroom wow! So what we do, again its us, I put in at max for about 2 hours prior going to bed, now I am sleeping as good as my cat lol! Just love it.. Highly recommended.

I bought this purifier and filter to replace my old purifier that I could no longer buy filters for.As long as I place it just so in my bedroom doorway, on the 3 setting when smoking is happening and for a little after, I don’t smell smoke in my room.It recommends the filter be changed every 6-8 months. My warning light came on this morning. It’s been 4 months and a day.The smoker smokes down stairs, my room is upstairs. When I’ve home they smoke near an open window. There is only one smoker. I’m not sure how well it would work if there was more than one smoker in the house, or a heavier smoker. Be prepared to change the filter more often though.The left pic is the new filter I put in this am, right was the filter I took out after 4 months use.
