    Great price, super cool, super easy!
    Very fast shipping. Portable AC unit is light weight and very easy to set up. AV is very easy to operate And the remote actually comes in handy. High BTUs cools several rooms, I’m glad I chose this unit with the 12500 BTUs. Very quiet on low speed and very fast cooling action on high speed. Continuous condensation drain (I used a small bucket) makes it very easy to discard water. I almost bought a portable AC locally (lower BTUs and higher price) but now I’m glad I purchased this through Amazon.

    This AC Unit is SO COOL!
    We didn’t install it as fast as we had liked to because we have an old crank window that no standard conversion kits can fit, but we problem solved and now it is running and working PERFECTLY! We have a standard 2 story home without zoned HVAC so no matter what we did, it was 60-64 in the basement, 70-74 on the main level, and 80-84 upstairs where the kids sleep. Sleeping up there was unbearable and they could not take it anymore or sleep comfortably. Having the window I have was the only reason I didn’t purchase a unit sooner. I read TONS of reviews and chose this brand. It runs perfectly and with the variable summer/fall temperatures, it is perfect to run on the days that it is hotter. So easy to attach the hose and once we figured out the window challenge, it was nice an cool. For once, the kids said they were cold! We have had it for a month now and it is still one of our best purchases. Great A/C product at a great price!

    Nice central ac supplemtal
    Easy set up. Works nicely. Affordable. We use this to supplement our central ac for our bedroom that’s pretty large, gets sunbaked from location of window and the lack of enough ac vents. It’s not too loud for us. Puts out good cold air. Like the unit and topside controls. Like the wheels. One star removed because of remote. Has all the buttons to control ac. However, you really need to be looking at the top of ac to use because it’s easy to push wrong settings or temp settings. Would have liked a remote that shows the current ac settings and show changes as you use it.

    Great Unit, Great Features
    We needed an A/C unit for the upstairs for our home, which has 3 bedrooms and a bath and is about 500sq/ft or so and I would say it could cover double that, even though it says it’s for 550sq/ft. We have had this unit for about one month, using it daily. This unit easily cools off the entire upstairs area, plus it’s mobile on wheels and can be put next to any window near an outlet. I personally like this better than a window unit, although it does take up a small bit of floor space. Set up is easy, basically plug and play and the buttons are intuitive. It does have a dehumidifier option, which is nice to have. You do need to fit the exhaust tube and panel into a sliding window, we have double hung windows so this was very simple to figure out and do. I definitely recommend this a/c unit.

    Life Changing for Sleeping On Hot Nights
    Did a lot of research & chose this one for the different features & because it had a remote control. It does the job & works well. Not too loud. The instructions were not great & was hard to see white on white in the pictures, but got through it. I carried it up the stairs & installed it myself. The window piece was used horizontally. There was cursing involved, but got it done alone. lol Messing with the hose was frustrating because it does not go on easy, but comes off easy. So, you just have to go slow & take your time positioning & shaping the hose direction before setting up. If I had a second pair of hands to assist, I think it would have been a lot smoother. As far as putting the insert in the window, that was easy. However, it needed modifications for my window. Since one piece slides into another piece, it would not lay flush on the window sill, & had a huge gap. So, I shaved down some hard foam I had & filled it in. The part where the hose exits the window was also an issue. The hose does not attach high enough on the slider, causing the hose to not lay in a flat position on the sill either, causing another gap. There was nothing I could do about that & had to plug the air gaps with more foam. There was a screw hole in the slider I had to cover with tape to keep air from escaping. I also used the clear window weather sealing plastic (usually used to keep cold air out in the winter) to cover any gaps from end to end & top & bottom, so hot air would not get in. If I didn’t do that, it was way too drafty. Depending on the humidity, it fills a gallon bucket up in about 8-12 hours, when running it a few hours at a time, & not continuously. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase, would buy again, & recommend.
