I have been using Zagg products for years. Never had a problem. Not once, not ever. Zagg products are absolutely excellent. The best aspect of their screen protectors is the ease of installation. It is virtually impossible to mess up. I saw some 1-star reviews on here with people complaining about the installation. I suppose itâs possible that there was a problem at the factory and that the materials were fabricated slightly imperfectly, resulting in an imperfect installation experience⦠HOWEVER – I think that any issue a user experiences with alignment and installation of the screen protector is due to USER ERROR. Thatâs right, if youâre complaining about the screen protector being maligned or some bs, itâs because YOU messed up putting it on. The ENTIRE REASON that Zagg is able to get away with charging $40-60 for a flimsy piece of âglassâ is *because of* that piece of plastic that you use to guide the installation and achieve a perfect fit. It works but installation could have been made much simpler and foolproof.
After using a different brand where the installation was super simple, I needed a new screen protector as I managed to crack the recently installed protector a couple of days after installation. I thought maybe this one would last longer so I bought it. Man, the installation process is certainly not foolproof, as I managed to put it on the wrong way AND upside down. I finally got it installed but now have 2 giant fingerprints on the screen. ZAGG, maybe you should actually identify which side goes up with a color or something.. And maybe not have identical nubs on both sides to hold the protector during installation.. I’m tech savvy but this was just a mess.
